Dog Boarding

Question: Where can i find dog boarding for $10?

Hey i am living in Chicago and i am going out of the country for 2 months and wanted to keep my 2 Maltese puppies for boarding but its too expensive.I need help finding a place to keep my 2 dogs somewhere for cheap please help!

Nowhere reputable. Leave the dogs with a friend or family member if you aren't willing to pay for decent boarding.

You are in a fantasy land if you think you are going to get it for $10. Especially in Chicago! You need to call around and compare prices

Ask a family member or friend; that is the ONLY way you are going to get off for $10 a day (I'm only assuming you meant 'a day' not for the whole 2 months because that's totally ludicrous) along with you providing food. Also you should be able to trust them. If you can't afford to board your dog then you shouldn't have made plans to travel abroad. Next time before you make plans to travel figure into your budget realistic expenses for boarding your k-9 companion (as in calling around for estimates BEFORE booking a trip) and if you can't afford to board then either plan a trip where you can take them or just not go.

$10 a day for boarding is pretty cheap, especially for the Chicago area. You won't be able to find a place reputable to keep your dogs for that cheap. I would suggest finding a family member or friend. You might also be able to get references from a rescue facility, as they might know someone who is a bit lower on the cost end of things. You might want to look in more rural areas around Chicago. The rural areas generally are less expensive, but you will want to be sure to check the place out and do a tour to make sure that everything is on the up and up. Good luck. That is a tight budget to meet.

Some vets board dogs call around at some vet offices.if you were close to me i would watch them.
