Dog Boarding

Question: Looking for temporary dog boarding. very cheap, or owners can provide food.?

My friend is in a rough spot in his life. He has been recently fired and they got kicked out of their house. He has a wife and two kids to support. Thats not the problem though, they now have a temp. roof over there heads but he cant keep his dog with him. Im looking for somewhere, like a shelter we can put the dog for a couple of weeks. He will pay for food, walk the dog clean up but he just cant house it. please help

Why can't they keep the dog if they can afford to feed it? Why doesn't the wife work? She needs to get her butt out and find a JOB. Why was he FIRED? He must have done something wrong. You don't get fired for nothing. You're looking for someone to temporarily look after the dog, but they could live anywhere in the world. PETSURROUNDME - You are being reported to YA's since it's illegal to advertise a business here. EDIT: My friend? I suspect that it's you. Why not just tell the truth and people would be more than happy to help you out.

Okay - first of all, rather than being judgmental over 'your friend's' circumstances, I'm sorry for him - this is happening all over the place just now and finding accommodation where you can keep your dog with you isn't easy - hence the shocking increase in dogs being handed into Rescue Centres (in the UK at any rate), just now. Is your dog a specific breed? If so, it could well be worth contacting the Breed Rescue people to see if there is anybody who would be prepared to foster this poor dog until your friend gets his life sorted out. It does occur to me that if 'your friend' isn't actually you (forgive me but how often is my friend the actual writer), you yourself might be in a position to offer to take this dog in, temporarily? Do these people have relatives who might be able to help? He might contact one of the Rescue Centres and see if by any chance they have foster people (I know organizations like Many Tears do foster our their dogs, but probably only after they've been signed over). His vets might be able to help (know of somebody?) too. I hope he gets this sorted out because it's a truly terrible situation to find oneself in - usually through no fault of his own.
