Where's your breeding mentor? If you are in a tough situation with the dog, your mentor should be offering to care for the dog while you are away or cannot care for her. I really have no idea what your vet will charge. I would assume that when she goes into labour, middle of the night vs. office hours, will affect your charges. I would also assume that yes, they will charge a general delivery fee along with a per puppy charge. And there is no way I will say only good things to a backyard breeder who allowed her 9 month old Chihuahua to get pregnant, is allowing her to carry the pregnancy to term, and can't care for her. |
