What's the most you would pay for dog boarding?

Question: What's the most you would pay for dog boarding?

We have never boarded our dogs before so we were wondering around how much should the maximum price be for one night?

Boarding costs vary widely by location and the amenities the kennel offers. I've heard costs up to $50 per day per dog for some of the swankier kennels out there....the kinds that have home-like rooms complete with beds, TVs in the rooms and webcam access. Call around in your area and aks what the rate is for both single or double housing (you say "dogs ", some kennels will offer a cut rate if more than one dog occupies the same kennel). Good luck!

When we board our 2 dogs, it is $19 per\day plus $2 for extra play time and they get a nice big kennel that is heated with a dog door so they can go outside into this little fenced part that is the same size as their kennel. Our dogs are always happy when they come home.

I wouldn't pay more than $60 per dog per night. Each boarding area is different, though. Some are just big outdoor kennels, and some give the dog it's own room with personal playtime each day. So compare the price you're being charged with what they are offering. You can usually select certain "package " deals when you board, so the price can vary depending on what you have in mind.
