Im looking for a reputable breeder in the tallahassee, area breeding peka poos , malti poos,or yorki poos for a resonable price. I have been scamed once already and I also don't want to have my new baby shipped from anywhere.
Is getting a Golden Retriever thats from well known dog breeders and Expsive Better?
Im trying to get a Retriever puppy and want the best I can get temperment, obedience etc. One ad i saw priced at 3000 dollars and its parents were show dogs and pedrigee and was born throug selective breeding. Another pup was 650 and was just " An ordinary G.R. pup from a localneighbor.Is payn more money worth the dog? Do their " Heritage" really matter on temperment and performance of the dog?

Why do dog breeders charge so much for their dogs?
I have been looking for a dog, but if I get one it has to be an Australian Shepherd. Well I have looked at rescues and Breeders. Rescue prices range from $80 $350, but breeders seem to be around $500 $1000, even more sometimes. I am not a fan of breeders like this because I think anyone who breeds dogs should do it for the love of the dog, and it shouldn't matter whether they make $100 or $1000. As long as the dog is put in a good home. I understand that some breeders will cover the cost of spay neuter, current vaccinations, etc, but animal rescues do this too, but for much much cheaper. So why are breeders so expensive?
How do those dog breeders with 10+ dogs take care of all of those dogs?
It seems to me that all those dogs wouldn't get the attencion they need each day. How do you walk 10 dogs at a time? Is that even possible? Are these people full time breeders with no other job and they spend 8 hours a day taking care of all of their dogs? How do you they take care of all the adult dogs when puppies are born. Puppies are time consuming.
Why do people hate dog breeders?
i know puppy mills are bad i know what goes on and i know people think dog breeders contribute to over populating, because people asked questions like, " do i need a license to breed dogs?" and they got a whole bunch of negative responses.
Why people dislike dog breeders?
i am a dog breeders i don't force them to mate i just let them mate on their own but stand around to make shure that every thing go right i breed all kinds of dogs i even let people bring me the girl and the male some people would like me to breed mutts or mixed dogs l like what i do i would like to know why people think breeding is wrong . and dogs on the streets mate all time and some people stop and watch them go at it but when i do it the right way some is wrong with it thank you
Holistic dog breeders? Your thoughts?
I found this wonderful website apparently this is their motto I am a holistic breeder. Licensed dog breeders are supposed to be regularly inspected by the USDA. It's the gov job to make sure ...?

If the licensed breeders are selling puppy mill products to the pet stores, then why isn't the USDA culpable for this shameful commerce?Bare Then why aren't the standards set higher for dog breeders? we want to get a dog from a breeder and so far all the breeders we have looked at have puppies right now, but we wont be ready for a dog for a couple months. about how often do breeders have puppies?
