Nothing is free, there's always a catch.. try the library and check out a few books. You can also get books on tape and take notes!

You probably can't to be honest. Books have to written, published, printed and distributed. What makes you think they would be free? Go to the library and loan a few books. The internet is full of free guides if you want more info. Vets or vet nurses can answer questions over the phone. You have Y!A for non-medical questions. There is plenty of help out there.

You can borrow dog care books from your public library. You've obviously got internet, there is a LOT of free dog care info online.
