Older dog house training?
i'm adopting an 3 or 4 yr old dog that was rescued from a puppy mill just a week or two ago. since he is used to being in a cage all the time he isnt completly house broken does anyone have any ideas that might help me house break him? also he is small about 4 lbs and white and fluffy if anyone has any name suggestions? that would be great thanks
Anyone have dog house training tips?
I have a 8 month old male cocker spaniel, I can't get him to stop peeing in one spot in my kitchen He will go when I let him out, but he won't " ask" to go outside, I don't have a dog door right now, but I am saving up to buy one, so maybe that will help. Anyone have any tips for getting a dog to " ask" to go outside??
Have you ever heard of a dog house training themselves?
We just adopted a Chow Husky mix from the shelter and I swear, he is perfect in every way. He has the best temperment, doesn't chase my cats, and has even house trained himself. When we adopted him we got to talk to the person who helped rescue him and she has known him his entire life. He was a dog that never was allowed to interact with his humans and for sure was never allowed inside. He was also probably hit in the head alot and kicked. We've had him inside with us since we brought him home and he hasn't had a single accident, not even when he REALLY had to go. He's been very good at going to the door when he needs to go out. Anyone ever heard of this?
Advice on dog house training problem?
We have a 7 month old cocker spaniel who is still peeing and sometimes pooing in the house. He is taken outside regularly and often will pee when told but still hasn't caught on that this is the way to behave. We clean up using non ammonia based products but he has peed under a very heavy bookcase and I think the wood has absorbed his urine. Any tips on removing the odour and generally on stopping this behaviour. We have had no problem in past training dogs. This is wearing us out no we did not use puppy pads.We do use a crate, he doesn't pee in that. Obviously we watch him but not every minute, which is all it takes
I need help with adult dog house training!?
My dog about a year and 4 months old will not poo outside. He will willingly pee outside, but he continues to poo inside and not on the puppy pads we set out for him either. If you haveany suggestions that will be great, because if he is not housetrained soon, my mom is going to get him a house outside. He is a Teacup Yorkie and only weighs 5 pounds So please HELP By the way, he has no specific poo time. He just poos whenever That is one of the things that is very frustrating...
Stay dog house training??
Well my dog , i found a week ago or two again and no luck with finding the owner. So shes mine now but i have a problem.When i first got her , she appeared to be house broken. She would go in the house but she would go out side.Now she has began to go on my floor and when i take her outside she will sit there and just look up at me , ive sat out with her for atleast 30 mins one time. Sometimes she even runs into the neighbors yard and sits there and when i try to go get her she runs even farther away from me.I need somehelp , if this continues im going to put her up for adoption .Shes starting to corrupt my own dog that i housebroken . Hes been going on the floor too with her around.
Are the Queens dogs house trained?
Was wondering about this as most dogs go to the back door if they need to get out to releive themselves but as the palace is so big it would take the dogs ages to get to the back door I have visions of them doing it anywhere and someone having to clean it up Does anyone know??
Can't get my dog house trained.?
We feed the dog 2 times a day and take her out to the bathroom every couple of hours and right before I go to bed I take her out to use the bathroom. Then during the night she will still use the bathroom all over her crate and lay in it. The crate is sectioned off I need help. Tips and advice would be really helpful.

Why isn't my dog house trained yet?!..?
any ideas why my 12 month old jack russel chihuahua mix isn't house broken yet? she randomly asks us to go,but sometimes she hides her usually poop piles at random places in the house and then she hides..sometimes she'll be good and go outside for like a week , and sometimes always inside.p.s. she poops A LOT , like 3 4 5 times a day , it's getting annoying and i'm getting frustrated with her
Can a dog house-train itself?
i have an older dog 12 in april who has lived outside her whole life, i brought her home when i was 11 which was extremely stupid on my part and after finding out a few weeks later that she had an extreme allergy to plastic my parents built a dog house and she has lived outside ever since. i moved out of my parents house about a year and a half ago but really just had the wrong mindset about the whole thing, i told myself that it was so hard to remove the plastic from the house and it was more kind to leave her outside but after i heard of record low cold coming our way i made the decision to bring her inside. this was last week. all my other animals besides her live inside and she didn't bother then at all in fact she kept licking one of my cats and she hasn't has a single accident in the house. i don't understand where she could have learned this i've actually been crying all week about how wonderful it is that she can finally be part of the family.. has anyone ever heard of a dog just naturally knowing good house behavior? i am just so happy that she can spend the rest of her life in a warm bed in a warm house with me we grew up together and i love her so much. is the the miracle i think it is or am i just lucky? she is a border collie golden retriever mix.i used a puppy gate to block off a portion of the house that has no plastic. she sleeps in there. the allergy is very extreme
How i can i get these dogs house trained?
hii have two jack Russell's 1 just over a year old and the other 8 months old, they were fine at start going to the toilet outside but them to just go where the hell they want to go.i need to get them house trained again or i will have to sell them and i dont want to.please any advicethanks
