I have a Yorkie who is a very good dog. When we go on walks he will usually stay right next to us with or without a leash which I really like. Unfortunately as soon as he sees people or another dog he has to run up and say hi to them. What would be the best way to train him to not go running off to see people without me going with him. Also if I do happen to be holding onto the leash he pulls really hard trying to go see who ever we're walking past.

Sissy is sweet but when she wants to play she bites and as she is only 8 weeks old it HURTS How do I stop her from biting as she tries to bite my son..... and teach her to sit, shake, lay, and stay.... but most importantly how to play without biting, like fetch and tug of war. And house breaking, any techniques for high strung dogs that are worth trying. I have had dogs before that just wouldn't learn, even with consistency and stern no's and there is not any professional help here in my area. I live in a town of 175 people. I want to make sure she is a great dog as I would like to keep her for many years to come.Thank you for your answers and help. It is really appreciated, as I have tried many suggestions from friends and family and none worked.

I have a baby toy female Maltese and a baby female Pomerainian who are very good dogs except for one thing, they bark at every single sound They would bark at the drop of a dime for crying out loud. It's good that they are looking out for us, and barking when they hear strange sounds, but this goes on every night. I've been to the pet store and the assistant told me to invest my money in a " bark reducer" whatever the hell that is, they said that it's something you put around a dogs neck and you can control the volume of their barks. I think that would be dangerous for the dog and because if it were really something going on then they wouldn't be able to let us know, so how can I get my dogs to not bark at every single sound that they hear?LOL well I've tried to look at it is if she's just being a dog. I have a puppy shih tzu maltese cross who is almost 5 months old, and he gets along with the other dog cocker spaniel I have that is 10 yrs old. My cousin also has a puppy jack russel cross who is 6 months old and my puppy and his were were bought from the same place and they were in the same cage, so I was hanging out with him and his puppy, and my puppy got along with his at first but then the next day when they met again he started growling and barking at his puppy and tried to bite him. Also when my cousin and his mom came over they didn't bring their puppy my puppy barked at my cousin but when his mom walked in my puppy went after her ankles, luckily he didn't actually bite her ankles. After that he was calm and my cousin even held my puppy and he didn't growl. So I'm a bit nervous to have people over, and to take my puppy for walks. What should I do to train my puppy?
