Potty Training Dog
Potty training dog information
Why is potty training dogs so difficult!?
I still can't seem to figure out why it is so hard for my dogs to comprehend the difference of " outside" and " inside" . One's grass, and the other 'was' perfectly nice wooden floors. Is there any way that would make it easier and faster to potty train these two? One's 4, and the other's 1. I understand this is a hard, and somewhat long process.. But i'm trying to keep my parents from giving up and just getting rid of them. Help, please?

Help with potty training dog!?
I've had my dog for about 4 months now. He's a year old and I adopted him from an animal rescue. He was abused by his previous owner and is pretty skiddish although he does trust me. He's been coming along great except for with his potty training. He still has accidents, I'd say about 1 a day. I take him out as much as possible and he knows to go outside. When I let him out he often goes. The problem is, if he needs to go when he is inside the house, he doesn't even alert anyone or " ask to go out" he just goes somewhere in the house. It's very frustrating and getting hard to live with. We have another dog who doesn't have problems but he isn't learning from watching. He also isn't the kind of dog who marks his territory. When he goes, he goes a lot. It's not like he will just go a little bit and then come inside and go some more. HELP I am running out of patience
Why is my potty trained dog suddenly peeing inside?
My dog is nine months old, has been crate trained for months now. I've been on a potty routine w her for months and now this week shes been peeing inside. She walks right in front of us and pees. She just recently did it twice within 1 hour, after peeing outside. She is peeing alot, seems to be a full pee. Its strange because The first time she did it tonight we took her out immediately and she peed more outside only a little . Then an hour later she walks right up to us and peed.
Why has my potty trained dog reverted back to peeing on the floor?

Help! My previously potty trained dog is now pooping in the house!?
Ok so about six months ago i adopted a dog, Rocky and he never had a problem staying in the house and he never pooped in the house. We got another dog oreo and he still didn't poop in the house. Now Rocky refuses to use the potty outside, and now oreo is starting to poop and pee in the house The only real change in their environment is a different couch. I tried picking Rocky up and putting him in the grass and he freaked and ran back to the door. I don't know what to do, because they even go right in front of me I don't scold them unless i catch them pooping or peeing, I even give them treats when they go outside and praise oreo when he goes out, but rocky just wont go. I'd leave them outside but Rocky manages to find ways out of our fence. What should i do, how do i keep them from pooping and peeing in our house?
Potty trained dog peeing in kennel?
My friends healthy female dog...around a year in age peed in her kennel which she has never done before. At first I thought maybe a thunderstorm had scared the pee right out of her but come to find out we didn't have one today. Also there is quite a lot of pee. Her entire underside is covered. Should we be concerned? Any ideas?
Any special techniques for potty training Dogs?
Sometimes my fiancee and I go out of state to visit my family back home and we have had his mother watch out for our new dog enough to let him out to go to the bathroom. Our dog is 2 years old and he's house trained but I was wondering if there's a way to potty train him indoor as well to go in a certain area and if so, how is it done?
How do I break my potty trained dogs bad habits of using the bathroom in my house?
Ok so I have a pit bull terrier and she is very smart, but shes also kinda old shes 6 When me and my family moved to a new home, she began to act like she forgot everything that we taught her. She began to poop in the basement when we would put her down there so I thought that it was because whe needed to be let out before we left so I did that, but then I realized that even after letting her out she would still go and poop in like 4 different spots which is ridiculous because we would be gone for like an hour or two tops . Its like she was comfortable using the bathroom down there because one time she came down there while I was washing cloths and peed WHILE I WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE Now she recently began to act out even more since I went off to college by doing these outrageous things 1. When we all left to take me back to my school, I locked her in my room so she got in the center of my bed and urinated even though there was PLENTY of floor space... could this be because she used to sleep in my bed when she was younger? 2. Since that incident she was not allowed in my room but one night she snuck in there and pooped in like 3 different spots...Now I considered that maybe she may be in need of attention because no one really gives her much anymore because I left for school and my mom and her husband work, but shouldnt she know better? Also, I considered the unnecessary rewarding that my mom and her husband do by giving her treats and stuff for no reason to be a problem too. However I need help because my mom wants to get rid of her now because of this stuff, but I want to keep her because I love her and I got her at 5 weeks and I have raised her to be 6 years old. PLEASE HELP ME
How to potty train dogs?
So I have a shi tzu that is about 14 months old. It took several months before I felt like he got the concept of peeing outside. I refuse to hit him or rub his nose in the pee like some suggest. For the most part he is pretty good. If he has to go to the bathroom usually he waits by the door in hopes someone lets him out. When I tell him to " go potty," he does and understands me. However, the other day he pooped on the floor right in front of me I told him " No," stearnly and took him out. I feel a sense of guilt because I don't feel like he has a way to tell me that he has to pee. I was thinking of trying to teach him by putting a bell by the door, since he doesn't really bark. How long does this take to teach him the bell method? Any suggestions? I want to trust that he won't go to the bathroom in the house.
Recent Problems with a potty trained dog?
My toy poodle is 5 years old and has been potty trained within her first year. The past three weeks she has refused to go outside. We had our carpets professionally cleaned because we thought it was an accident, but she did it again. We've kept her on a short leash the past two weeks inside the house and once she went to do it in front of us. She's done it about 10 times in a 3 week span. We've done some punishments like keeping her outside for most of the day or her normal one of going in her kennel, but it's not working. I'm frustrated and I don't know what to do.
How can I get my potty trained dog to stop pooping inside the house?
I'm currently living at home during summer break from college with my parents and two dogs. My oldest dog is almost 11 and has free reign of the house, we have no problems with her. My youngest dog, Molly who is almost 2, is potty trained and very good at letting me know when she needs to be let out trained to either ring a bell hanging on the door or lay her paw on my leg and usually stays in the kitchen family room laundry room because she has had several accidents upstairs that my parents are not to happy about they have the rest if the house blocked off with baby gates . I spend most of my time working on my computer in my room and when my parents aren't around I allow molly to come upstairs with me so she can still let me know when she needs to go out. My problem is she will occasionally leave my room without warning and poop in our living room right underneath the window. Always the same room, always the same spot. I don't punish her when I find it because I was always told that if it happened longer than 5 10 minutes ago the dog wouldn't know why they were being punished something about they'll forget what they did or something...not sure if its true . Molly and I take lengthy evening runs both of our exercise for the day and I let her out several times during the day. When I'm not working she is glued to my side and goes everywhere and does everything I do. It just seems as soon as I start working in my room, she makes a bee line for the living room and poops. If she keeps it up my parents will never allow her out of the kitchen and I want her to be allowed to go where she wants to while we aren't home. I just can't seem to keep her from pooping in that room Im afraid I may have spoiled her with all of the attention I show her and when I'm no longer 100 % focused on her " punishes" me for it but I don't understand why she does it.
