How long does potty training dogs last?
We have been crating my 14 week old golden retriever since we got him at weeks old. he doesn't go to the bathroom in his crate and we constantly bring him out to go to the bathroom. when we bring him out we say " go potty" and he knows he has to go and do his business. he also goes to the sliding door to let us know he has to go. but at least once during the day he will have an accident 99 % of the time pee in the house on the floor. We don't know how to stop this we have told him " no" when we have caught him in the act and bring him outside right afterward. How long does this last and what can we do to fix this?

i have an 11 month old shiba inu. she doesnt really want to pee outside, but she loves to pee in the crate and lay down in it. we take her out all the time, we give her water then 15 20 min later we take her out and she wont pee. then she wont pee for the whole day. until she gets in her crate and she will let loose. how can i stop her from doing this?
Why is potty training dogs so difficult!?
I still can't seem to figure out why it is so hard for my dogs to comprehend the difference of " outside" and " inside" . One's grass, and the other 'was' perfectly nice wooden floors. Is there any way that would make it easier and faster to potty train these two? One's 4, and the other's 1. I understand this is a hard, and somewhat long process.. But i'm trying to keep my parents from giving up and just getting rid of them. Help, please?

Potty trained dog only pees in house when around other dog?
6 month old...had him for 3 weeks. Has never had an accident inside. Peed numerous times when playing with other dogs. In my friends kitchen after being there for an hour. In my duplex back stairwell while playing with upstairs dog. And another time when playing with another dog upstairs.It is not because he has to go. He had peed outside 3 minutes before the accident upstairs. He also gets plenty of exercise today 3 hour walks . It also doesn't seem like marking because he pees for a looong time inside??Dog experts.... help??
Why is my potty trained dog suddenly peeing inside?
My dog is nine months old, has been crate trained for months now. I've been on a potty routine w her for months and now this week shes been peeing inside. She walks right in front of us and pees. She just recently did it twice within 1 hour, after peeing outside.She is peeing alot, seems to be a full pee. Its strange because The first time she did it tonight we took her out immediately and she peed more outside only a little . Then an hour later she walks right up to us and peed.
Any special techniques for potty training Dogs?
Sometimes my fiancee and I go out of state to visit my family back home and we have had his mother watch out for our new dog enough to let him out to go to the bathroom.Our dog is 2 years old and he's house trained but I was wondering if there's a way to potty train him indoor as well to go in a certain area and if so, how is it done?

I have a two year old dog that is potty trained. I get back from work today and to my suprise saw undigested grass leafs on my bed mixed with some brown poop on my bed. There was also urine stay around the poo What happened? How do I prevent this from happening again?

My 7 year old Yorkie Bichon is potty trained and usually never has accidents aside from marking his territory when we moved. In the last 8 hours he has had two accidents where he just squats and pees. He always lifts his leg, even when hes marking territory. Anyone know what this could be??
My adult potty-trained dog keeps peeing in the house?
My miniature male poodle has latly been peeing in the house. he is fully potty trained and he goes out regularly. He is 13 years old but it's not like he's having accidents he is actually lifting his leg to pee on things. I know this because my mom just found him doing this today and other days. Is there any way to prevent this? Yes he is crate trained as well and he is in there when we are gone so we know he does this while we are home. Thank you
Potty trained dog peeing in kennel?
My friends healthy female dog...around a year in age peed in her kennel which she has never done before. At first I thought maybe a thunderstorm had scared the pee right out of her but come to find out we didn't have one today. Also there is quite a lot of pee. Her entire underside is covered. Should we be concerned? Any ideas?
Help! My previously potty trained dog is now pooping in the house!?
Ok so about six months ago i adopted a dog, Rocky and he never had a problem staying in the house and he never pooped in the house. We got another dog oreo and he still didn't poop in the house. Now Rocky refuses to use the potty outside, and now oreo is starting to poop and pee in the house The only real change in their environment is a different couch. I tried picking Rocky up and putting him in the grass and he freaked and ran back to the door. I don't know what to do, because they even go right in front of me I don't scold them unless i catch them pooping or peeing, I even give them treats when they go outside and praise oreo when he goes out, but rocky just wont go. I'd leave them outside but Rocky manages to find ways out of our fence. What should i do, how do i keep them from pooping and peeing in our house?
