Havanese puppy training difficulties?
My new puppy is a 15 week old Havanese. She's very sweet and loving, but she wont take a treat from my hand. I am also having a difficult time training her to go to the bathroom outside. She will pee but not go number two. What are some of the things I can do? Why is she acting like this?
Question about puppy training and treats?
ok i know a few people that have their dogs follow orders and the acknowledgements of their owner is their candy ... but others that expect treats after EVERYTHING they doone friend tells me that you have to give your dog treats after they successfully do somethingmy uncle sais only give them half the time .. then gradually stop and replace treats with your approval stuff like " GOOD GIRL" .. because if you keep giving them treats the only reason they'll do tricks is for treats i kinda wanna go with my uncle because his adult doberman dog happily takes orders without treats and my friends lab sometimes won't obey if she knows she won't get anything.... what are your experiences with dogs and commands and treats and such??? maybe it's just my friends crappy training but can you treat dogs much and have them follow commands later without the use of treats?
Should i put my chihuahua in puupy-garden(puppy training classes)?
he already knows sit buy is having trouble with potting on the pad we live in an apartment so we live up flights of stairs and hes not using the pad like he used to hes like 3 months old and this is at petco and he will learn a lot i just want a second opinion cause this sounds great i just love my baby and i want him to be really smart and be a puppy cause he also play bites when he plays and he has some really sharp teeth so i just want a 2nd opinion no rude answers pleasebtw the traning person is with eukanuba

Why won't my puppy use her puppy training pads or go outside?
I have a two month old puppy. We are trying to train her to go 'potty' in certain areas. We have two training pads in the house one in the living room, and one near the bathroom. We also take her outside. She sometimes goes outside. Other times, she will just sit and look at us. Then when we take her inside, she'll go on the floor in some random area. We have shown her several times where the pads are. Are we doing something wrong? Does the brand of training pads matter? We have changed brands once, and she did seem to do better with the first. Should we take one outside for her? This is our first puppy, so we are rough on training.Thanks to anyone who helps

I got a puppy and it's 7 weeks old. It poops everywhere, what is the best was to train it to want to go outside. also it like to bite, so how do i make it stop doing that too? it's keeps getting my 5 year old sister

How much is puppy training?
I have two puppies who are 10 weeks on Friday and having problem with them randomly jumping up and biting our face. I have young nieces and nephews and concerned that unless this is nipped in the bud quickly, not only can they do some harm, but they'd be put down for something which was never properly taught to them and therefore no fault of their own.I have heard mixed advice about what to do with this and I don't want to do the wrong thing.
If my bedroom and bathroom are the only accessible areas, is puppy training still possible?
Yes, if there is no such thing as an outside I do take it out for exercise, as far as my own space, there's no outside . Peeing indoors I could probably train him to do with pads and whatnot. He has an eating and sleep space. Yeah they're in the same room, but not directly next to each other. Is there anything I should look out for? What can cannot be put close together? How about poop? Should I skip the pee pads and get those tray things where he can pee AND poop? Can he poop on a pee pad?This is my first dog. He's about 4 weeks old. Half rottweiler and pitbull is that how i should describe him? the mother is a pitbull and the father was half rottweiler and pitbull The dog is only going to stay in the house in the morning, when he wakes up, and at night when he's about to sleep. Other than that, I'll take him outside. I'm just talking outside as in sidewalk, I don't have a big backyard. Is that bad? It's not like I want him to stay in the house. I don't like that for myself

I am thinking of getting me a puppy and was wondering if anyone out has tried the puppy indoor grass pads, and do they work, on trying to house train your puppy?

Would anybody recommend puppy training classes? My vets runs a 6 week course for vaccinated puppies, the class size is 6 puppies. What are people's experiences of puppy classes? And what would be a reasonable price to pay for these?Thank you in advance for your responses.Just to clarify, these are group classes with other puppies and owners not individual training sessionsJust to add also that I have already started training her sit, fetch, stay, toilet training etc.
