What is the best ‘Call Back’ to use for training a dog?
I ve been reading some dog training books and got two different training commands for calling your dog. One said to use such verbiage as, dog s name where are you? And the other says to call out Come . Both explain about voice tone and using reward markers, etc. once the dog arrives at your feet. I thought using something simple like, Fido, come would be more like it.I m looking at getting a Toy Manchester Terrier and they were bred to hunt rats and other small vermin so they have that go after them instinct so I m looking for the best verbal command to use for call back if and when off leash.sigh.....My question isn't about if a TMT is not the right dog for me.

What is the most effective way to leash train a dog and also stop him from whimpering for no reason?
I've got an approximately 2 year old dog that I haven't owned for his entire life. He rarely listens to my commands, yet will listen to my girlfriend when she gives him basic commands such as 'sit', 'come here', etc. He also whimpers quite a bit for no reason. I'd just like to know how to get him to listen to me more consistently and have him stop tugging at the leash so much. I've also searched on wikihow and various other websites, but I'd like to know the best way to train him quickly.
How to train a dog to NOT chew on everything?
We have a Jack Russell about 7 months old. She has a bad habit of chewing everything the carpet, blankets, food water dishes for some reason she even chews on the bottom of bedroom doors. I've never owned a house dog before so I'm unsure as of how to train her to not chew on things. We have given her her own chew toys and bones. If anyone could offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

How can I train a dog to poop outside?
I adopted a 5 years old puggle about 3 weeks ago. I was told she might be trainned but unfortunatelly she wasn't. I started to take her out ever since I got her and I was able to make her poop outside twice. The problem was that, as a part of the contract, I had to get her spayed. After surgery, I believe, her metabolism changed and she is not pooping in the mornings anymore, as a matter of fact, I don't know when she poops, all I know is that when I get home she has already poop on the carpet. I had to buy her a trainning mats because I didn't wanted to her business on the carpet, and all she does is pee on there but refuses to poop. She is not pooping and peeing all over the house, she has chosen one corner of the livingroom and it's there where I placed the mat. I believe I may be able to train her if I only knew when she wants to poop pee. Any idea?

How do you train a dog to not eat poop?
For years I have been struggling with my beagle Blue. Even as a puppy, poop seemed to be a delicacy to him. I tried sprinkling that stuff, i can't remember what its called, on his food, it's the stuff the vets recommend for this type of behavior. Even discipline and positive reinforcement. Nothing works He's also horribly stubborn and ignores both me and my husband when we call him. I've taken him to training, nothing sticks. Help please.Question to TK, is that dried crushed pineapple?
Training a dog to go off the lead?
We recently got a 7 year old rescue dog, he was mistreated and has learnt his name,. We let him off the lead in the forest and he came back first time, second time took some coaxing but eventually he came back, We are worried that if he is distracted by another dog, or even a car, he wont come back, what is the key to training him or is it too late? Also, when he walks on the lead, if he sees a tractor or large lorry he goes mental and wants to chase it. Will this boy be better to stay on the lead permanantly, we have a huge garden so he does get a good run in it.
